I was born in San Francisco and did my undergrad work at UC Santa Cruz, where I studied painting and photography. I also studied in Italy and in Colombia. I moved to New York in 1988 to get my MFA at School of Visual Arts and lived in New York City until 2002. I have traveled throughout Europe and Asia, and have photographs from all over the world. I have shown in Europe, South America and the US, both in solo and group exhibitions. My work is in a variety of collections, including The New York Public Library, The Brooklyn Museum of Art, Flemming Zulack and Williamson, and Chubb Insurance. In 2002, I moved back to California, where I teach, work on my photography, garden, and still paint too. I do art documentation, photographing the work, installations, or collections of artists and collectors in the greater bay area, and I teach photography and photoshop privately. Look at the link below for testimonials from students.
You can email me for any of those services, or if you are interested in purchasing any artwork.
